Having trouble installing iOS 6

What exactly is the error that you're getting?

You're lucky.

Look around and you will see just how many bugs there is in the IOS 6.

You might actually make some money by swapping your ipad with one that is running ios 6. if you so want a product that has trouble doing most of the things you are used to.

I start the process to download and install iOS 6. Then it appears to download it, but when is finishing the installing it shows a Message: Error installing the software. Error installing iOS 6

If you are updating over WiFi, try updating through iTunes on your computer. Temporarily disable the firewall and antivirus software on your computer if you try to update that via iTunes.

Restart the iPad and reboot the computer first as well.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".

Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
